Farah Jeune
Multimedia Artist
Farah Jeune is a Boston-based multimedia artist. Her artwork depicts the energy, experiences and dreams of her Black and Brown peers.
Growing up in an urban environment, Jeune experienced and was exposed to people living in poverty and impacted by various forms of violence. Despite the social and economic circumstances she saw, the resilience, originality, and immense talent of her peers motivated her to want to shine a light on their greatness. Her work centers around illustrating their unique stories in colorful 2D mediums and videography.

She also creates artwork to bring awareness to critical issues impacting communities of color such as HIV and Mental Health issues. Her visual artwork has been featured at the United States Conference of HIV/AIDS (USCHA), Viiv Healthcare’s Youth Summit, The Punto Urban Art Museum and on the Billboard Hope public artwork project in the Roxbury community of Boston, her hometown.

Ms. Jeune was also the 2021 Boston Arts Publication and Media Outlet Recipient for her public access television show, ºFarenheight TV, a platform that celebrates people’s unique talents and perspectives through interviews, LIVE performances and more.
Her artwork is an expression of joy that celebrates the many rich cultures and experiences throughout the African diaspora and empowers people to inhabit their greatness.
